The Short Version
Our products are digital files delivered instantly after purchase. Because you receive the files immediately, we cannot offer refunds once a download has been accessed. However we are genuinely committed to making sure every customer is satisfied with their purchase, and we handle every situation with that in mind.
If something went wrong with your order, contact us. We will fix it.
Digital Downloads — General Policy
All Gunther Sound products are digital downloads — MP3 files, WAV files, and License Certificate PDFs. Because these files are delivered instantly and cannot be returned in the way a physical product can, all sales are final once the download link has been accessed.
This is standard practice across the digital music industry and is consistent with the terms you agreed to at checkout.
Exceptions — When We Will Issue a Refund
We will issue a full refund in the following situations, no questions asked:
You were charged but never received your download link. This occasionally happens due to a payment processing issue or a spam filter catching the delivery email. Contact us at support@gunthersound.com with your order number and we will resend your files immediately or issue a full refund if we cannot resolve the delivery issue.
You were charged twice for the same order. Duplicate charges are rare but they happen. Send us your order confirmation and we will refund the duplicate charge the same day.
The files were corrupted or unplayable. If your downloaded files are damaged, incomplete, or will not play on standard audio software, we will replace them immediately. If we cannot provide working files we will issue a full refund.
You purchased the wrong license tier by mistake — before downloading. If you purchased a Personal License when you needed a Creator License, or vice versa, and you have not yet accessed the download, contact us within 48 hours of purchase and we will correct the order.
Situations We Cannot Refund
You downloaded the files and changed your mind. Once the files have been downloaded, the transaction is complete. We cannot issue refunds for change of mind, accidental purchases where the files have already been accessed, or dissatisfaction with the song after download. We strongly encourage you to listen to the full preview on the product page before purchasing.
Your project was cancelled after purchase. We understand that weddings and projects sometimes change. However a valid license was issued at the time of purchase and the files were delivered. We are unable to refund licenses on the basis of project cancellation.
You found a similar song elsewhere for less. Our pricing reflects the quality and intentionality of our catalog. We do not price-match and we do not issue refunds on this basis.
Your client did not approve the song. Licensing decisions are the responsibility of the purchasing videographer or creator. We recommend previewing songs with clients before purchasing if client approval is part of your workflow.
Annual License — Subscription Cancellations
The Annual License is a recurring subscription billed once per year. The following terms apply:
Cancellation before renewal. You may cancel your Annual License at any time before your renewal date and you will not be charged for the following year. Your license remains valid through the end of the current paid period.
Cancellation after renewal. If your Annual License has already renewed and you did not intend to renew, contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge at support@gunthersound.com. We will review the situation and issue a refund at our discretion if the files have not been accessed since renewal.
No partial refunds for unused time. We do not issue partial refunds for the unused portion of an Annual License period. If you cancel mid-year your license remains active until the end of the paid period.
Annual Pass — Subscription Cancellations
The Annual Pass follows the same cancellation terms as the Annual License above. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. Contact us within 7 days of an unintended renewal charge and we will review it.
Exclusive Buyout Orders
Exclusive Buyout agreements are custom transactions negotiated directly with Gunther Sound. All Exclusive Buyout sales are final once the agreement has been signed and files delivered. Please review all terms carefully before completing an Exclusive Buyout transaction.

We respond to all support emails within 24 hours, Monday through Friday. We will always treat your situation fairly and with the same care we put into every song we make.
A Note on Licensing
Purchasing a refund or cancelling a subscription does not retroactively void the license for any projects completed during the valid license period. Work created under a valid Gunther Sound license remains licensed even if the subscription is later cancelled.
